Afternoon Love . . .

each week or so, for an afternoon, I get to watch

sweet little great grand

we have some lunch

today it was broccoli, carrots, some chicken and an orange

we sing songs, like twinkle twinkle and where is thumbkin

new words are appearing all of a sudden

orange, bear, moo moo, bye bye, car, boots

I love you

fun to watch her try to say almost anything right now

long nap today

and when I heard her stir I went in with my iPad and clicked a few pics

oh my, such snuggles, rosy cheeks, thumb, hair flying all over the place

and then we cuddled up in the chair

I just kept clicking

look at those eyes, cheeks, eye lashes, smiles

all about some love

don't you think

Iknow..it's such a great feeling. If there is one thing in this world I would do all over again..it's have all seven of my children who gave me all those grands and in turn are showering me with tiny great grands...and one is now a teenager! Oh..I think I'm gonna cry! :) or..maybe not..Lynne, are we blessed or not??!!
HUGS and LOVE!

Authentic memories of your girl. Not fashioned or posed for the camera's sake, but for the sake of capturing her just as she was in those moments. This is what "living in the moment" is about. You do it well, my friend. Nancy P.S. She's adorable. Love those big eyes and rosy cheeks.

Love being a grandma we don't have any little's any more our youngest is age five.
But it is still fun to drive them to school and check in with them on many issues.
Glad I found your blog again.

There is absolutely nothing as heartbreakingly lovely as a just-wakened grandchild. Yours is so very sweet.
